OBJECTIVE

Create a copy driven, multi-platform campaign that integrates Benadryl’s Itch Stopping Gel product. The idea was to tie it with some different element that was not directly related to bug bites or an issue related to the product. Benadryl’s Itch Stopping Gel stops those annoying irritations. So, we targeted new parents and the issues they may not have been expecting with their kids.

CONCEPT

New parents take on a lot when raising young kids and many of these parents have not been properly prepped on the troubles of dealing with their kids. Benadryl’s #NewParentProblems campaign gives parents a chance to take a break and have some help with the load. The campaign revolves around the “Sometimes it’s the little things, that bug you the most” tag connected the product with the kids. If parents have had problems with their kids, they can share scenarios on Instagram or Facebook for a chance to win a month’s worth of chef-prepared family dinners.

DESIGN & DELIVERABLES

In this campaign, you will see many different copy driven ads that highlight many troubles of raising children. The design of these ads was kept simple and consistent with a modern typeface and the branded green and white. The deliverables include a Facebook Carousel posts, a Facebook Video, Instagram Video and transit ads.

Many parents can relate with this internet famous mother and her hiding tactics. This video will encourage fellow parents to reach out and share their experiences.

Instagram Stories

Instagram helps to reach out to our newer generation parents who post to their stories often.

These print ads also function as transit ads and hit on key areas where parents bring their kids a lot. These locations are also places where parents can run into problems with their kids.
